Windows XP Error

Hello,

I have encounterd an error message that pops up after
Windows XP loads.

I get general error message that envolves the execution of
the file vdevm_app.exe.

Does anyone know what this file runs and what I can do to
try and reload it?

in foreign language? No hit on vdevm_app.exe at all

It might be some 'video device manager' by the sound of it; associated
with your graphics card, as one of the things they often load to put an
'easy adjust' icon in the task bar - not often much use. So if all
works otherwise I would Start - Run - MSconfig.exe and look for it in
the Startup section, and uncheck. Exit - do not bother to reboot, but
next time you do there will be a message about 'Troubleshooting'. Check
the 'Do not show again' box and exit
