I have Windows XP Home Edition (SP1). Is it possible to download a disk image
from Microsoft that includes XP SP3 and use it with my product key?

No.. but it is possible to download SP3 and then slipstream
SP3 and your XPSP1 into a new XPSP3

Do a Google on "slipstream" and look for the free program "Autostreamer"

Do you mean a disc image of Windows XP that includes SP 3? No, you
cannot. Why would you even want to? Just install SP 3.

The best way to get SP 3 is from Windows Update. You can also download
the full version of SP 3 from Microsoft.

With the full version of SP 3 you can make a slipstreamed install CD
that includes SP 3.

Thanks for all of you,

I want to install Windows on my Macbook and SP2/SP3 is required for XP
installations. I can't install SP1 version of XP and update it later to
SP2/SP3. That's why I want to use a disc image of Windows XP that includes
SP3.

Go to MSFN; you will learn how to do many things. Also, simply google
"slipstream SP3" and you will receive instructions on exactly how to do
everything you desire.

Understand, however, you must READ the instructions; not just "skim" them.
There are instructions which will enable you to recreate a bootable cd using
free MS utilities. The other thing which you must be aware of is that any
"branded" (like IBM, Lenovo, Dell, HP and excetera) are going to have
customizations which WILL be lost after slipstreaming SP3--mainly integrated
mass storage drivers and modern chipset identifications.

You will need a Windows PC of some sort to do the slipstreaming on, it need
not be XP SP3, IIRC anything from W2000 up is suitable.

You might also take a look at nLite, which incorporates slipstreaming.
