Windows xp destop background

G

Guest

Recently the background on my desktop has changed from the bliss theme to
just a plain white background and changes frequently to a cream color. When
i right click on it instaed of it being the usual option to change the
display through right click, it is as if im looking at the properties of a
web page. When i actually go to the properties it believes that the desktop
is a html file. How can i change it back to normal? Does anyone know?

Try checking this setting:

Start-> Settings -> Control panel -> double click "Display" -> click Desktop tab

At the bottom click -> Customize Desktop -> click Web tab

Uncheck the box "My Current Home Page"

Click -> OK -> OK
