How do I use default CD Drive (if there is one) in Windows XP SP2? I am
trying to use CD-RW to copy files with Roxio and cannot get past prepare
disc. Tells me a problem with disc. The CDdrive in my pc is not capable to
use CD-RW?

That is when I recieve the message that there is a problem with the disc.
First says it will take 25 to 45 minutes to prepare and then another box
appears and says there is a problem with the CD and try another.Have used two
different new CDs.

No. They are Maxell CD-RW. If I uninstall all of Roxio Easy CD DVD Creator
6 will I be able to just copy from the drive on my computer?

Give it a try, BJ,
You should be able to right click your file and select Send to.
Your drive should show up on the menu.
The DVD creator may be the problem since your drive is CD not DVD.

If I uninstall the Roxio can I still use the driver through the Windows
system? In other words do I have to have this third party software or
another software to record on CD-RW? There is not aproblem with recording on
CD-R.
