Windows XP Critical updates fail to install

The following critical updates fail to install

824141
828035
825119
823182
828026
822603

I am able to download all of these but they will not install. During the
install attempt
my system hangs/freezes then restarts.

During restart chkdsk runs on the backup drive and I have run chkdsk /f on
the C drive.
No problems are found on either drive.

Before attempting these updates I uninstalled ZoneAlarm, disabled Norton
Anti Virus,
deleted WU Temp and CatRoot2

I was able to successfully install 826939

I even tried manually downloading the updates and installing them, the same
problems occur.
During the manual attempts, the system stalls at "creating third party
drivers" then restarts.
