I was sent an email that offered Windows XP Corporate at
the unbelievable price of only $39 with free shipping!
WOW. My understanding, and yes I am one of those honest
people, is that the corporate version of XP Pro is for
businesses that have a need for 250 or more licenses.
Isnt it illegal to seel Corporate versions to
individuals? And if so, how do you report it if the
person is selling it on, say ebay?

There is no such thing as a "corporate" version. The term
"corporate version" is widely used for pirated copies. What you
describe above is a volume licensing situation.

What you've been offered is a scam. You'll either get nothing or
a pirated copy.

Send an e-mail with all the details, a copy of the e-mail you received with
all the details to (e-mail address removed).

Actually, there is no such thing as WinXP "Corporate Edition."
That is a term applied exclusively to pirated (iow, stolen) copies of
the Volume Licensed WinXP Pro by the "warez" aficionados.

Volume License starts as low as five, and is required to be installed
only on machines owned by the licensee, under strict control and subject
to Audit. But 'Corporate' is a give away for a copy that is
flagrantly pirated, using a leaked product key that may well become
prevented from doing any update - and which will certainly be locked out
of the Service Packs. Report at
http://www.microsoft.com/piracy/reporting/default.asp
and to eBay themselves, with details of the auction it appears in
