Can someone answer the following for me:

1. Does the above exist?

2. Is it the same as WinXP Pro?

3. If not, what / who is it aimed at?

Thanks & regards

Paul

there's no such thing as XP "corporate" AFAIK - there IS "Volume Licensing"
for a corporate environment.

No this is the name often used to refer to pirated versions of Volume
Licensed releases of Windows XP.
2. Is it the same as WinXP Pro?

See 1. there is no such thing.
A Volume Licensed (VL) version of Windows XP Professional is the same as the
Retail Windows XP Professional apart from some licensing changes.
3. If not, what / who is it aimed at?

See 1 and 2. Doesn't exist so not "aimed" at anyone.
VL products are provided under volume licensing agreements see
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/howtobuy/pricingvolume.asp
for more details on volume licensing of Windows XP Professional.
Thanks & regards

I think the confussion arises because the CD provided to
corporations has written on it "XP Corporate Edition".

Greetings --

Actually, there is no such thing as WinXP "Corporate Edition."
That is a term applied exclusively to pirated (iow, stolen) copies of
the Volume Licensed WinXP Pro by the "warez" aficionados.

The XP Corporate Edition is XP Pro and is a special version used for Volume
Licensing. The CD key is based on the number of licenses purchased and
may/may not require product activation (??). This is a major XP version
that is wide spead across the Internet as a pirated version of XP.

It is not an official name. It is one that got given in the warez
world to pirated copies of the 'Volume Licensed' edition (as supplied to
corporations under multiple license, which is a version of XP Pro) as a
way of avoiding the Activation system - and avoiding paying anything for
it to Microsoft of course.
