Hello,
There can be any number of reasons for this type of problem
Virus and worm are certainly one of them.
Drive letter change can be another
Permissions set incorrectly can another reason.
Safe Mode Work?
as suggested does another user account work?
What changed on the system or what was the last thing you were doing before
it stopped working?
