My computer will not allow me to put up wallpaper! I have been able to do
this until recently. does anyone have suggestions on what to do.

You didn't describe well that what happend when you right click on Desktop
and choose Properties. Is the Desktop is missing from Display Properties or
the wallpaper is list is grey out? is the Wallpaper list is grey out and you
are unable to select any wallpaper from the list and even unable to browse
for more pictures and only the Color option is available?

If so, then try this:

1. Click Start - Run - type REGEDIT and press Enter key.
2. Expand To:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop

3. In the right side pane, look for any entry called "NoChangingWallPaper".
If exist, then select the entry and delete it.

If the Desktop tab is missing then try this:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

3. In the right side pane, select the entry "NoDispBackgroundPage" and
delete the entry.

Hope this help, let us know!
