Wallpaper List

I've already been to this site:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/background.htm and understand that the
wallpaper list is SUPPOSED to read files from the MyPictures folder.
However, mine didn't used to do this. I just want the wallpaper list to
show files from C:\WINDOWS and C:\WINDOWS\Web\Wallpaper. This is what
it did yesterday, but today the wallpaper list is also showing files
from MyPictures.

I don't know what I did to cause this change (I did recently move a
folder of pictures from my Desktop to the MyPictures folder, but none
of these pics was a file I was using for wallpaper). Does anyone have
advice on how to change it back?

OK, I did some playing around and it seems the "problem" is being
caused by one picture (a jpeg file) that I'd moved from my desktop
folder to my My Pictures folder. When this file is on the desktop, the
Background list reads how I want it to, but when this file is in the My
Pictures folder, the Background list includes a bunch of pictures from
the My Pictures folder. Weird! Any thoughts about why this might be? At
least I can work around it for now.

still looking for ideas
