Windows XP and Outlook 2003

I cannot add phone numbers to my Outlook contacts. A box pops up and asks
what the dial up setup is, however, when I try to choose a country all of the
choices are blank. I went into Control Panel - Phone and Modem and the same
problem arises - I am not able to choose a country. I am losing my mind on
this.

Hi BD,
try instructions in the following article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/914040

It the article does not help, try renaming the whole "Country List" registry
key into "Country List OLD" and reboot your computer.

Let us know if it helped.

Thank you very much. It solved my problem.

The only question I have is that when I tried to use the Microsoft
Management Console option to stop the telephony service and I received a
message back saying that it would also disable remote access. This step
timed out and I had to use the second option..net stop tapisrv. This worked.
I checked Outlook and I am OK. My question is do I need to do something to
allow remote access? Or was this not affected because it timed out?

This has NOTHING to do with the OS. Ask in an OUTLOOK group.
