Windows XP and mIRC

Hi!

Everytime I try to connect to an IRC server using mIRC,
Windows XP always prompts an Error then automatically
closes mIRC down.

I've tried disabling Error Reporting, but it doesn't
work, mIRC is still closed down.

Anyone know what the problem can be?

Have you tried downloading the latest version of mIRC? Make sure you're
running the 32-bit version, not the 16-bit one.
