Windows XP and CD Burner Software

I could not keep my old CD burner when i upgraded to XP. Does XP come with
any sort of CD burner software or do i need to purchase something?

It will burn data CDs, but you need something in addition for audio CDs.
Windows Media Player will also put 2 second pauses between tracks, so a
third-party program is definitely recommended.
