Windows XP Account Management?

I went through Windows Update and updated to the optional updates that
were listed. One problem, now when I start the computer, XP wants me
to click on the user account to log-in. I have only one user account
and would like windows XP to go back to automatically logging in. I
went to Control Panel/User Accounts and have the following listed:

Myself
Computer Administrator

ASP.NET Machine A...
Limited Account
Password Protected

Guest
Guest Accounts is Off

I don't recall the ASP.NET or the Guest accounts before. What are
they and do I need them. Would deleting them let me go back to
automatically logging on? I see where I can delete ASP.NET, but do
not see the ability to delete the Guest account.

Thanks for any insights.

The Guest account is present on all XP systems and cannot be deleted.
Disable it.
The ASP.NET account is required by one of the programs that you downloaded
(sorry to say, the name of the mystery program escapes me right now (perhaps
..NET)). Just leave it alone.
As for the automatic login, I don't know of any interaction between the
accounts.

If you have more than one computer, XP uses the Guest account (if you
have XP Home or XP Pro/MCE with Simple File Sharing enabled) to permit
file sharing between computers on you network. You can turn it "off"
but if you "disable" it, you may run into file sharing problems.

The ASP.NET account is for applications that use Microsoft's .Net
Framework. See, e.g., http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555299/en-us
