Windows won't start up -- Please Help.

Last time I used my laptop it was fine, now I turn it on and it goes the the
"Toshiba" Screen...the to the Windows loading screen...and all is normal
until I get to the blue "Windows XP Screen". Normally it says "Windows is
starting up.." for about a second and then the user password box pops up.
Now, on the other hand, "Windows is starting up..." Lasts a long time, I
tried to leave it alone to see what would happen (waited about 15 min.) and
nothing changed. I turned off my computor manually and I got the same
problem. I've tried "Safe Mode" and "Last Config that worked" and I got the
same problem, stuck at the "Windows is starting up..." screen. Please try
and help, I'm willing to try whatever it takes to fix it. =]

Hi Colin,

You may want to try using System Restore using the computer in "Safe
Mode with a Command Prompt". Read the follwoing KB article for more
details.
