Having heaps of problems doing a recovery with XP windows
The problem I am having is each time I boot up I receive a error message
saying
Ntldr missing

So I reboot from the xp windows cd …
Go to recovery
Get to the black screen and type in
copy K:\i386\ntldr C:\
copy K:\i386\ntdetect.com C:\
Note: K would be the cd rom drive that I have booted off , which I have
found is E on my machine …….

now the next problem I am facing is the pc cant find the cd rom drive to
copy theses files from
error message I receive is ……says no floppy or disk in drive?
Yet it boots off the cd rom drive to get here in the first place

can some one please advise how to get around this problem....i did do a
spring clean and obviuos that i deleted this file and maybe others

Do not select first repair option (Recovery console) - continue and accept
the second repair option, at which point the current OS installation should
be listed - select it and select "repair" - setup will continue as if doing
a complete install.
