WINDOWS wont boot

Please link me to any sites that can give me help on this
but for now I will post it here.

I have been deleting some files on my computer randomly and
decided to restart my computer. Please note that when all
the files were deleted, my computer was still on.

I decided to restart the computer to see if it will still
boot up (which I wish I didnt) and unfortunately it wouldnt
start up.

It shows a black screen that exactly says:

NTLDR is Missing
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart

I then inserted my Windows XP Intallation Disc.
I tried using the Windows XP Recovery Console but
unfortunately it asks for an Admin password. What is the
default Admin password that windows assigned (I never
assigned any password).
What are ways so that I can fix this problem?
Help would be greatly appreciated on this, email me at
(e-mail address removed).

Hi,

You were close, you do need to load the Recovery Console, and from there
copy ntldr from the I386 directory to the root of the boot drive. There is
no default password set for the administrator account, but if a blank
password does not work, you may have to use a workaround described here:

Cannot Log On to Recovery Console After Running Sysprep [Q308402]

The default password is blank. Just hit Enter.

Enter in the following commands (X: is replaced by the actual drive
letter that is assigned to your cd drive):

COPY X:\i386\NTLDR C:\
COPY X:\i386\NTDETECT.COM C:\

Remove the XP cd and type "exit" without the quotes.

If this doesn't work, you can try a Repair Install. Here is a link to
information about that:

Thanks very much for that information. I only have a
Windows XP CD and i've read that link and it says it
requires a windows 98,2000 or ME. I will get right on that
right now.

Thanks again

Why would you go around deleting files "randomly? It's obvious you don't
know what you are doing - at all!
