Windows wont boot

I recently installed a sound driver on my computer which runs windows
xp, the driver was Vinyl Audio Deck (from download .com). After the
installation, everytime I would turn on the computer on from stand by
or from being shut off, the screen would flash, blink and show
purple/magenta lines rarely, and I assumed it was something else. But
later on, I also installed the same driver on my cousins computer and
it did it everytime, so I uninstalled it and it fix the probelm and
figure the driver was causing this problem on my computer also. So I
went back to my computer and tried to unistall it, but it wouldnt let
me, and the computer wont boot at all now. The hardrive runs and so do
the fans, but nothng else does and my screen is black/blank. So what
may have happened and what can I do to fix this?

Move on over to a real operating system. That toy operating system you're
trying to use just doesn't cut it.
