Can anybody help with the following situation:

Running Vista Home Premium 64bit.

After buying a Windows Wireless Optical Desktop 1000 i can not get it to work?

I carry out the install off the cd(install IntelliPoint and Touch), reboot
connect the receiver and then vista see's the device as "Microsoft Wireless
Optical Desktop 2.10" it then tries looking for a driver for this device and
fails (I thought Microsoft might be able to sort there own drivers how wrong
was I!!) It can not find a driver at all? Have all latest updates and still
no luck, has anybody had this problem? Any ideas?

Many Thanks

Have you followed the instructions supplied to the letter?

You make no reference to having pressed the 'connect' button on either the
mouse or the keyboard.. Have you done that yet?

I have followed the instructions to the letter including 'connect' button procedure, the box does state "Certified for windows Vista" label, the unit works perfectly on my XP laptop! ????
