Windows will not start

I keep getting this error msg when I try to start up my computer.

We apologize for the incovenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A
recent hardware or software change might have caused this.

If your computer stopped responding, restarted unexpectedly, or was
automatically shut down to protect your files and folder, choose Last Known
Good Configuration to revent to the most recent settings that worked.

If a previouse startup was interrupted due to a power failure or because the
Power or Reset button was pressed, or if you aren't sure what caused the
problem choose Start Windows Normally.

Safe Mode
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Last Known Configuration

Start Windows Normally

I've tried all options and none of them work, they just cause my computer to
restart and go back to the same error msg. I not aware of changing any
drivers, and haven't added any new hardware. I'm not able to go into Windows
to change or see what drivers could be affecting the computer, and I have
tried to do the Repair from the Windows XP CD but it didn't seem to do
anything. Any suggestions? Thanks for your time!

Hi

If none of those options allow you access to Windows, then you will have to
try a 'Repair' install of XP. Please have a look at the following article
by Michael Stevens:
