I thought it would, but have never tried. Thanks Gordon.

It's not an "install" in the current sense of the word, you just copy the
exe file into a folder and make a short-cut to it.....

I believe it was a simple statement of fact, if worded
poorly.

A perhaps better wording would have been,

"If you were not invited to test the beta version, it is
because you don't qualify."

A good buddy is a local computer systems engineer and owns
his own shop. "Wizard and Company" if you have happened to
see him online. I asked him awhile back why I wasn't able to
find certain software, like the beta version of XP.

My friend, Bruce, said, 'If you can't get it, it's because
it's "Invitation Only."

They send out free copies to us beta testers."

Beta testers-- as I understand it-- don't ask. They hear
it's coming, and then they know it's "out" because they get
a copy in the mail.

To test!

and we're back to:

"You don't have it because you don't qualify."

If you qualified, you wouldn't have to ask for it.

Good luck!

Let us hope that the people doing the testing _this_ time around go a bit
further than checking to see if Silitaire still works...

Just as one example... As a virtually blind user, I get really annoyed every
time I need to go to a Proprties (or what have you) page only to be faced
with the unreadable (to me(, unchangeable and unresizeable font therein. (If
anyone knows how...yes please!)
