Windows Vista WLAN issue

I think i know the problem but im posting to see if anyone else has this issue.

while surfing online or downloading you wont notice it so only gamers will
realize this problem. but every 15-30 seconds my connection will freeze
(LAG) up in a game. it does this over and over at the exact same time. so im
assuming its something running on windows.

I experienced this with windows XP for a short time untill i started using
the linksys WLAN instead of the built in windows XP WLAN. now that i
installed Vista it started again the exact same connection freeze. it does
it wether my signal strength is excellent or Good. im almost 100% sure its
something with the windows Vista WLAN. dont both posting anything with
setting for IE if you do you have no clue as to what im tlaking about. IE
has no effect on connections outside of IE. anyhow has anyone else
experienced this? i also know the linksys WLAN monitor is not compabtible
with windows Vista as of right now. if you run it you get a cannot load
PROCNICs.dll error.

ive tried turning off the ipv6 ect everything i dont need running. i un
checked the swtich to a better connection. but it still persists. now if
i connect hard into the Router then it runs normal. so i know its an issue
with the wireless adapter and windows WLAN. im using a generic wmpg5 or
whatever wireless adapter. I have the windows vista drivers for it also that
linksys released.

I have had the same problem, and i have also tried the same things as you.
Linksys monitor fixed this problem in xp but it doesnt seem to be combatible
with vista.
basically WLAN as it is makes online gaming nearly unplayable. I would have
thought MS wouldnt have made the SAME mistake as they did in VISTA. I just
hope Linksys can update their monitor
