windows vista windows installer error

when tring to install SQL server Managment Studio Express on windows vista i
got the following message :

[ Windows Installer
This installation package could not be opened. contact the application
vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package ]


any help please.

It should be windows architecture problem(X64/X32).
