Windows Vista startup problems

My dad's computer has Windows Vista startup problems. The power button is
pressed and it will constantly say, "Windows does not start up correctly." We
say, "Start in safe mode" and all the options, but whenever we press an
option, the computer automatically shuts down and restarts again. I don't
know what the problem is.

Try to repair the startup. Instruction is at

Note: Startup Repair cannot fix hardware failures, such as a failing hard
disk or incompatible memory, nor does it protect against virus attacks.
