Windows Vista not Genuine

I have been using Windows Vista for a couple months, and just recently had a
message that my Windows Vista was not genuine. I'm having difficulty getting
any product information off my computer, using my control panel or printing,
and I think it's related to the message about Vista not being genuine. Any
ideas what I can do? I have the opering system disc so I could re-install,
but will that help?

What would really help you is to get rid of Vista entirely. I would
suggest you check out Ubuntu at www.ubuntu.com. No activation. No
becoming genuine. Not virus or malware prone. Can be installed on as
many computers as your little heart desires. Much better graphics and
easier to configure to your tastes. It comes with access to over 25,000
free programs like Thunderbird and Firefox. Order the free Live CD which
you can run to test your hardware before you even install it. Oh, and
it's not only free, they will pay the postage for the CD to get to you
by post.
