Windows Vista Mail Error message

Hi, I am a beginner so please be gentle, I am running vista and when I exit
Mail, I keep getting message compact box and when I try to compact keep
getting following message, (File, Error:0x800C0155) can anybody help please,

Use my Windows mail utility to compact and repair the database and then see
if that fixes the problem (you may get prompted by WinMail to compact again,
but it should work after that).

Hi Steve,
How do I get my windows mail utility to compact and repair the database, I
keep getting into a program that has replaced mail utility,
