Windows Vista Freezing

Hey, any idea why Windows Vista keeps freezing on me? I bought a new computer
and it froze after about 30 mins of it being turned on, and it does it pretty
often. The computer is showing the problem as Windows Vista. Thanks.

Nevermind guys, i'm new here and I didn't notice the search feature. Looks
like many others have this problem and I am going to install a reliability
update and see if that helps.

Boot into safe mode and check the Event Log in Adminstrative Tools to see if
there are any error messages relating to start up? If you do, copy the
contest and post back here for a better diagnosis. Also, are there any
external devices attached the system such as USB external drives for
example? Also, I would check the Problem Reports and Solutions applet in
Control Panel > View Problem History to see if there are any application or
device driver error messages.

If you use a proper newsreader, you will have a better Usenet
experience. Vista comes with Windows Mail that has newsgroups, called
"communities" in MS-speak. Searching for information from this group is
probably done better using Google groups:

http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windows.vista.general/topics?lnk=sg

The web site you're using is the worst way to read or post to newsgroups
now that AOL doesn't carry newsgroups any more.
