Windows Vista and Outlook 2003

Hello....

Can anyone tell me how to get OutLook 2003 back after you have switched from
Windows XP to Windows Vista? I did not back-up my files correctly and I no
longer have access to OutLook 2003. I am currently using a Trial Version of
OutLook 2007 thru Office Professional 2007 (Trial). Needless to say I love
it, but I don't want to spend any more money on an Office Suite that I only
need for OutLook.

Please help.
You may respond back to me at (e-mail address removed)

You must reinstall Office or just Outlook from the Office disk after the
upgrade to vista. Then you use the Outlook File menu to open your Outlook
Data File. Your pst file should still be on the computer. That contains all
your data. Uninstall the trial version & reboot before you install the 2003
version.

Hi Mary...

Thanks for the prompt response. I have one of these HP DVT 6120 Laptops and
it came pre-loaded with Office 2003 on it. There isn't a disk, however, I am
supposed to be able to re-install from the harddrive. I will give it a try.
Hopefully, I won't screw it up. Thanks again and I'll let you know how it
turns out.

did you make a backup disk when you got it? If not, I think you are probably
screwed with the upgrade. :( If you recover the backup, look for an office
setup folder and burn it to a disk, then upgrade to Vista - and do not
install 2007 if you really want to stick with 2003.
