Outlook 2003 and VISTA

I have been using Outlook 2003 with Microsoft Office 2007 on my Vista for
about a year now, when suddenly, Outlook 2003 decided to only receive and not
send emails. After a week of this, I purchased Outlook 2007 in hopes that
this will rectify the situation.
My Question: How can I insure Outlook 2003 is completely removed from my
Vista before I install the new improved Outlook 2007 so this situation goes
smoothly. Is there a tool I should download? (ran into this situation before
with McAfee and Nortlon).
FedEx should be delivering TODAY so please get back to me quickly as I
haven't had email for about 2 weeks now and customers are awaiting my
replies!!!

Uninstall it via Control Panel. Preferably remove all previous Office
versions and applications you no longer use.

I doubt that the upgrade will automagically solve your current configuration
issue though. If you start with issues you'll probably end with them as
well. At the very least reset your dat-files and recreate you mail profile
after the upgrade.
