Outlook - problems with installing Outlook 2007

Jenny

I've just downloaded a trial copy of Office 2007 just to get the utlook part
of the package (I already have Office 2007 for word and powerpoint) as I'm
trying to look at an Outlook archive I generated with a newer version of
Outlook than I have currently. The one part of the office suite that it
shows as being unavailable to me is the Outlook part. Is there any reason
for this? Is it because I have Outlook 2003 loaded onto the machine? Is
there anything I can do to resolve it?

Thanks

Well first off, Outlook 2003 can read and use Outlook 2007 data files, they
both use the same format of data file, so if outlook 2003 cannot open the
data file there is something else going on.

Outlook 2007 will not install if any other version of Outllok exists on the
sys., but as above that wont help you.

What is the err.msg you receive when you try to open the data file, and is
the data file located on the PC?
