Windows Vista And Areca 1230 RAID Controller

I have been trying o install Windows Vista on my machine and havent been
successful thus far. The following are my machine specs.

ASUS P5W DH MotherBoard (Intel 975X)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4GHz (overclocked to 3.06GHz)
2GB Crossair 8500 DDR2-1066
Areca ARC-1230 Raid Controller (12 port with 12 HDDs connected
C Drive (4 x 74GB WD Raptors) Raid 0
D Drive (8 x 500GB Seagate 7200.10) Raid 5
ATI X1900 GT Radeon 256MB

I get to the point where i am asked to load the drivers for my hard drives
and Vista can successfully find the drivers and does load them. However, it
cannot seem to find any hard drives and just seems to be in a constant loop
(in an attempt to find any connected hard drives.

I have tried all possible iterations of drivers provided by Areca but in
vain. The following is a Quote from the Areca Support Site...

"2. These driver do not get the Vista signature yet, you may reject from
Vista 64 bits system driver install. When the system reboot, you can push F8
key function for using the unsigned driver. The drivers of x86 32 have no
these limitation in Vista 32bits Beta2 platform. You can find the Windows
2003 driver in our ftp site:
ftp://ftp.areca.com.tw/RaidCards/AP_Drivers/Windows/Driver/"

I have emailed the Areca support as well hoping to get some insight to what
the problem might be.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

You will have to wait until Areca publishes drivers for
Vista. There is nothing you can do without the necessary
drivers optimized for Vista.

Fair Enuf...however just wanted to point out that I could do this about 3-4
months ago with the Beta releases of Vista (even before beta 2 or RC1)
