Windows Vista and APtuner

I have been using this excellent little guitar tuner program called APtuner
v3.06 from http://www.aptuner.com/cgi-bin/aptuner/apmain.html in Windows XP.

Installation in Vista is not a problem, but the program starts and then
crashes saying: tuner.exe has stopped working.

Any ideas? I'd really like to continu using it. Apparently the program is no
longer supported from the author.

Try running as administrator and/or in XP SP2 compatibility mode (right click on
the program's shortcut, Properties, Compatibility tab)?

I have been using this excellent little guitar tuner program
Version 1.02 works (personally I like it better then 3.06)

I can send it to you if you want just email me - it's freeware. Or you
can just do a google search for it.

suggestions, can you get it to work yourself?

Thanks. I've found the old version and it works

I just can't figure why the new version would crash while this old version
simply works..

The latest version v3.08 from www.aptuner.com is working with Vista.
