Windows Vista AGP Problems

Hi I have installed Windows Vista 32 Bit.
Everything works fine but the AGP dosent work correctly.

What i meen by this is AGP is on 0X not 8X and the AGP Write and Read are
not on. This makes 3d games run very slow. SMARTGART is the name of the
settings that do not function. They are turned off and cannot be turned on.

I have a 64 bit CPU I thought i didn't need to install a 64 bit Beta 1 but
maybe I am wrong.

I am using the ATI Vista Beta 1 LDDM Driver. (32 Bit)

Specs:

2.2 AMD 3500+ 64 Bit
AV8 Abit Mobo
1 gig ram
120 gig hd
x800 Pro 256mb ram

Thanks for your help.

LOL! You should NEVER expect real performance with a BETA OS.

Have you checked the platform's BIOS settings for AGP ?

As you have noted you are using a Beta video driver. What did you expect, a fully working
video driver ?

I test graphics cards for Autodesk. We have seen this performance when the
AGP drivers for the motherboard are not loaded.
