Windows upgade install problem.

Hello,
I need some help! I have a windows machine that wont start copying the files
after it has done the installation of devices. I am able to copy the I386
folder to the hdd but it still cannot copy the required files.
I have disabled all of the devices on the motherboard and unplugged all of
the peripherals.

It was working originally but due to a virus and other errors had to be
re-installed
I am running a P4 3 GHz on a I875 motherboard on a sata hdd with a 1Gb of
Ram, using the windows SP1a cd.

Any help would be very grateful.

What kind of error message?
Have you loaded the SATA drivers (by pressing F6 early in the installation)?
Can you access the SATA drive?

Hi

I originally installed windows on the drive without the sata drivers needed.
It gets to the gui then canot copy the files after it "installs devices".

It says "cannot copy file" but I can copy the i386 folder to the hdd but get
the same message.
