I have a friend who has a e-machine, and the internet hook
up she has would take here about 15 hours to get all the
updates she needs on her computer. Is there a way she can
get the info so she does not need to download it, or can
she get a cd so she can just install the cd and get all
the updates since Jan 1 2003 till the current date.

In short, no. She can run the Windows Update tool to see what she needs and
write them all down and then use Windows Catalog to download them one at a
time but it will still take about the same time to do that as it would to
install it. If you knew someone who had a faster connection then you could
possibly get them for her.

Well, if you're a nice guy, then you could do it for her. The link
below should give you an idea about how to do it.
