windows updates

Hi everyone.
My computer downloads updates every night and restatrts to finish the
process.
I don't mind the updateing but the restart cancles everything that I'm doing.
Is there a way to not restart automaticlly? Can I choose when to restart?
I know that in XP I could but now I can find it.

Hi
I have the opposite problem.. I never seem to have any updates.
Although I have found, that if I disable automatic updates, remove the Other
Microsoft updates, and make IE7 default browser again, it MIGHT find an
update.
But I'd much rather have it work the way its supposed to...
