Windows updates-where are they stored locally?

If a server/pc is set to download but not install updates, where are those
installlation files located while waiting for you to initiate the
installation?
 
Assuming that the patches are downloaded from Microsoft's windows update or
wsus, the location would be \WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download. I
believe SUS puts files under \Program Files\Windows Update
