Windows Updates automatically run post-install

Hello,
I've got a box that i want to put xp on. I'd like to know if it's
possible to have windows update run immediately after unattended
installation so that the updates will be available?

It is - but you could just integrate most of them into the installation CD
since you are unattending them anyway.
