windows updates. ACTIVE X settings a problem!!

I can't get updates due to security settings. Active x
controls are an issue. I did all the Troubleshooter
directives... Whats next?

I tried all the system check restore points and it does
not work.

I searched the news groups with no satisfactory
answers.

If anyone can help. I would really appreciate it.
 
Can you be specific on "ActiveX controls are the issue" and
let us know that you have reviewed the ActiveX control settings
in the security within Internet Explorers settings for the internet
zone.
