windows update

while attempting to update my xp pro with the sp2 as
needed, it repeatedly fails to download and install.
Any fixes
 
If you are having download problems, you can have MS just mail you the CD.
 
Do you have Deamon Tools or Alcohol 120% installed? If you do,
uninstall them first, then reboot, then try updating to SP2. You can
also try downloading the network version if Windows Update still fails,
though this file is considerably larger ;)
