windows update

Hi,
I am hoping to get some advice on windows update. I get error msg's when I
try to downlosd updates and my windows file is empty. It did work in the
past.
This msg appeared in my documents/settings/admin
Install Failed

The LiveUpdate install failed due to an internal error.
Any help would be appreciated. Many blessings,Jan

LiveUpdate is a Symantec product.

Windows Update is a Microsoft product.

Which one are you having problems with???

Jan;
Live Update is not a Windows Feature.
Symantec and possibly others use that name.

You need to give specific information about the error including the message
in the Windows Update log.
