Windows Update

I am having trouble with Windows Updates - after installing updates i then

visit the admin area of our company website and the editable pages are now
greyed out with a little white square in the corner with a red cross in. I am
unable to edit any of my pages. I have enabled all my active x controls and
still no change. Can anyone help?

I have all my active x enabled and have contacted my system admin and they
can't seem to find the problem.

Can anyone shed any light on this problem?
