Windows update

Almost everyday or at least every other day, my Automatic
Update window pops up with an update for the Windows
Media Player.........it's always the same update:
Critical Update for Windows Media Player Script Commands
(KB828026)

Is this correct that I should be getting an update every
other day or is it some virus?

Did you download the Critical Update? Once you download it you shouldn't
get the reminder anymore.
