I receive error 0x800A138F when Windows Update is checking
for updates. I found & have walked through Knowledge Base
Article - 326253. All the items suggested to fix the error
have no effect, since all the items for Resolution were
checked on and found to be configured correctly.

I have now located and fixed the problem with error
0x800A138F. A corrupt active X control resposible for
Windows Update, had to be deleted from Windows NT,
Downloaded Program Files. Now Windows Update is working
100%, Thanks to a genius in our family.
