I have XP pro both at home and at work. I have dial-up internet at home and
a high speed cable connection at work. I've kept windows updated at work ok
but I'm worried it will take too long on the dial-up at home. Is there a
way to down load all the updates for XP to date and burn to a CD at work,
and then take home and install there?

The automatic update seems to be customized to your individual hardware. So
I don't think I want to just copy the same update files off my work
computer.

Ideas?

Thanks...

You can also set the preferences on the update page to show the
downloads you need. It's called the windows update cataloge. Letting you
pick the files you want to download and install them (later or on
another machine) instead of letting windowsupdate do it automatically.
Here is the article at microsoft on how to do this.
