Windows Update, HELP!!!

I have been running Windows Update every other day now
for a week. Today when I tried to run it, I got a message
that said:
"Thank you for your intrest in Windows Update. You must
be running a Microsoft Windows operating system in order
to use Windows Update."

WHY AM I GETTING THIS? Someone please help me

Scroll down to: You must be running a Microsoft Windows operating
system in order to use Windows Update. Follow instructions. Hope this

Thanks alot guys, the windows troubleshooting page
worked. I just recently installed the Sygate firewall
that probably impaired the Windows Update. Thanks alot!

if your operating system is okay then may be the server is too busy.It
happens sometimes.Please retry again.
