Windows Update Hassle :0

I have Windows XP Home pre-installed so keep that in
mind. Whenever I go to the Windows update page and
select my updates, I press the install button and the
Terms and Conditions window comes up. I press accept and
then the download hangs up. I have let it sit there for
up to 50 minutes and all it says it that it is "preparing
for download". WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!! I have been
to over 20 different newsgroups and the only thing I have
been told by them is to reinstal the IE6. I figured out
how to do it...and yet the problem persits. I am out of
ideas. If you have ANY...yes ANY ideas, lemme know!

http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/, so keep that in mind.

Google Groups shows that (using this email address) you've posted to exactly
one (1) MS newsgroup in the past, and both posts were also today.
