Windows update does not recognise me as an administrator

This has happened since I got a w32.blaster.worm

I get about:blank as my homepage on iexplore and only looks for porn!

....various spyware adverts

my spyware blaster has become disabled and i cannot reinstall!

I have just bought registered and updated Norton Internet security....it didnt touch the problems

I have downloaded ad-aware and every time i run it i get approx 16 flags for registry values etc......

has anyone else experienced this?
