Windows Update - Autofocus of GUI windows Issue

P

PMPP

Greetings,

I would like to suggest a change into all kinda of "Request of attention"
from windows on Vista.

While I was working, I was typing a text, and just after Windows Update
finished downloading updates, the focus went to Windows Update window, and
since I was typing very fast, and kept typing, and since a "space" is enough
to submit/click, I just agreed to reboot my Vista, with all my windows and
programs open on the background with unsaved work.

Next time, it would be nice, if some sort of popup on the tray telling me
that program X or Y needs my attention would be greatly appreciated.

It would be nice if all programs that request this kinda of attention, and
that have such potential risk for the usability, experience, and WORK of
someone, would use this kind of popup.

I hope you find my suggestion, useful

I have to agree with that.
There is no reason for a window to popup in your face while you are working
that will take just about any keyboard input as a YES and force a reboot (no
matter whan else was running).
