adding more features in windows vista task manager.

is it possible with a windows update, to add a tick-box in the process tab of
the task manager in order when it's ticked it will hide all the processes
that if they are terminated by mistake will make windows unstable. this
tick-box could be very useful if someone accidentally terminates an important
windows process.

Hi,

No, but not a bad suggestion. However, you will find that you cannot "kill"
a system critical process. It won't be allowed to terminate, you'll just get
an error message.

There are some severe negative ramifications to doing this that make it an
untenable idea. Glossing lightly over the issue: what would be the possible
security ramifications of doing this? How would you know how to classify
something?

Killing processes should not be done lightly ever. If you're to the point
where this would be a useful feature, there's probably some base problem on
your system that should be looked into. =\
